  • July 2003 :

    Creation of GEKFI INDUSTRIES COMPANY. The aim of this company is to conceive, develop, manufacture in subcontracting and distribute electric assistance bikes which comply with the European and the French norm.

  • At the end of 2003 :

    Development of the first electric assistance bike generation. This bike is called “EAZY MOUV”. (motor 180 w, mono-velocity). 100 electric assistance bikes have been sold.

  • 2004 :

    Development of the second generation of “EAZY MOUV” bike. (motor 200 w, mono-velocity). 250 bikes have been sold.

  • 2005 :

    Development of the third generation of “EAZY MOUV” bike. (motor 250 w, 83 % energy productivity with an autonomy of 70 kilometres (eco mode) and 3 SHIMANO velocity).
    1 000 bikes have been sold.
    This bike is the most sold in France. In fact one bike sold on three is an EAZY MOUV bike.
    Development of the fourth EAZY MOUV generation. (improvement of : the frame, new control electronic,6 SHIMANO velocity. 3 000 bikes have been sold in 2006-2007.
    The head office has been transferred in the town of Salbris (41300) where the company occupies a building of 600 m2. Four employees have been recruited in order to insource the final assemblage, the logistic and the quality control.

  • 2008 :

    The commerce tribunal of Blois, opens a proceeding of judiciary recovery against GEKAFI INDUSTRIE. Then in November 2009 the company was in compulsory liquidation.

  • November 2009 :

    VELEIX Company is created after the resumption of the GEKAFI INDUSTRIES assets and of the EAZY MOUV COMPAGNIE brand.
