  • Using a bike in town, makes breathe more pollution than by car.

At the contrary, when you are on a bike, you breathe less pollution than by car. Indeed the catch air which allows the inside airing car, are mainly situated on the back. That means, next to exhaust of the other car. The cyclist, him, who is higher than by car, breathes less fumes.

  • An electric assistance bike is less fast than a car!

An electric assistance bike can be more efficient than a car or traffic, for urban travelling.

When you use an electric assistance bike you are independent. There is neither traffic conditions, or buses time, nor transport strike.

  • If the battery is empty during the ride, can I continue or I do I have to stop?

An electric assistance bike is first of all, a bike. So when the battery is unloaded, your electric assistance bike can be used as a standard bike.

  • After each use, do we reload the battery?

No

Lead frost tight and lithium ion battery are practically insensible in at the memory effect. The more your battery is regularly reloaded the more its life expectancy will be long. It is necessary to avoid letting a not used battery without being reloaded during 6 months.

  • Battery which are used, are cumbersome and polluting.

Veleix recovers batteries which are commercialised. The battery life expectancy is variable. It is generally included between 2 or 5 years according to its utilization. It allows to cover 20 000 km in average.

  • Why the EAPCS price is high?

The price of an electric assistance bike is explained by its technology. In fact an EAPCS works thanks to an electric motor and a battery, which are managed by an electronic system. These characteristics justify the EAPCS price.
